better than regular traceroute – Nice Trace - Traceroute Review

This app is sort of like a combination of ping and traceroute; it keeps sending packets, and takes note of where they're being dropped, and color-codes hosts accordingly: high latency hosts are red, medium are yellow, low are green. Very cool, and quite handy for network analysis.
