It's got potential – Morpholio – Design Portfolio Review

If morpholio has only one thing at this point, it's potential. The ideas are there. Anyone that has gone through any type of architecture or design education knows how important it is for one to enter the "vulture pit" that is known as the crit room in order to further ones own projects, ideas, concepts. Why not make a network for sharing, critiquing, reviewing, presenting... The ideas are definitely there(and that is the sole reason I'm giving morpholio three stars), but the execution is not. Morpholio's interface tries to be sleek and simplistic, but it winds up just coming off as confusing. Reminiscent of apps like Instagram which attempt to rid themselves of all buttons, morpholio has too much to hide between multiple different menus and sidebars. And for an app devoted to critiquing and reviewing final work(including portfolios), you don't get the same pristine feel you get while looking at a portfolio on issuu. But in the end, the main thing morpholio is missing is a MASSIVE following! And for an app that relys on crowd-sourcing, all prior complaints would be omitted if there was an active following behind it(ex. the crummy grasshopper threads) So, in the end, download this app! *paid for by morpholio
