Not sure if scam or not with no adds – Idle Supermarket Tycoon - Shop Review

I just paid for no adds says skip adds and keep the advantages but I click vip click watch video and still gives me a add when it says skip adds and keep the advantages so why did I pay &10 for no adds other than that fun game
