Pennys pursuit not saving progress – Plants vs. Zombies™ 2 Review

I've been playing pvz2 for almost a decade and there seems to be more plants added and less levels on the world map. Just special events so it gets kind of annoying having offers for you to spend money on. Really my issue right now is penny's pursuit not saving my progress, not sure how I'll even get to the end of the map when I clear only 3 with a full 15 battery pack and I'm expected to finish all the way to the end in one sitting?
