Why can't I hear the bell? – Zenso Meditation Timer Review

I like the design of this timer, but when I use it the chime doesn't make a peep! I checked to see if the volume on my iPad was up and it was but I still can't hear the chime. When selecting a chime it appears that you can't hear the sound either.
