Terrible after recent updates – GroupMe Review

After recent infrastructure updates, you can tell they have moved away from push messages to a polling method that checks for messages every minute or every several seconds. When chatting with a group it becomes apparent when all messages become delayed unless you exit the app. I’ve been a user for almost 10 years and this just started happening a few months ago. Time to find another chat service.
