Was good until recently – Microsoft Word Review

A while ago I loved the word app; I could type stuff up while at home or on my break at work, then listen to what I typed up as I did my job with the read out loud part of the app. That really helped with finding typos or grammar errors. How recently the read out loud part seems to be malfunctioning. It reads it really slow now, in an obnoxiously slow sort of way. I’d you choose a different voice mid read it speeds back up to where it sounds good again, but when it goes to the next paragraph it slows down again. My wife is having the same issue on her phone so it’s not just one device. Is there a way to change the speed of the read out loud or did it get bugged on the last update?
