The update is horrible – CocoPPa Play Review

This is my favorite game, and I’ve played it almost every day since 2016. However, the newest update (1 Feb 2022 JST) is AWFUL. There are many new quests, but the rewards are not worth the work. For example, playing the gacha 100 times to get only 2 coins????!!!! You can’t even play a gacha one time with 2 coins. Additionally, the event rewards are still ugly, while the ranking rewards are still gorgeous and impossible to get. There are also WAY too many Alice in Wonderland themed gachas and events, while other themes could be explored (camping, skiing, hiking, cute towns, runway, painting class, etc.) I will say I’ve seen a little bit more variety recently, but I’ve also seen more Alice. Right now, there are only 6 out of 20 gachas that are ticket play instead of coin play. This has been the ratio for a while. I could deal with it before because I could save up coins to play a gacha I really liked. But with this update, that will not be the case. I will still play this game, because it has been my favorite for so long. I really hope they improve event rewards, make gachas with various themes, make more ticket play gachas, and bring back Fashion Labo and Sugoroku. But most importantly, CocoPPa Play, PLEASE fix this update! Also, if they need money, they should add a feature to watch advertisements for coins or something that is mutually beneficial. . . . My previous review in 2019: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The developers have made A LOT of improvements for this game. I’ve played it for more than 3 years and it was getting quite frustrating for a while because everything was impossible to get. I think most of the negative reviews are from that time. I’ve always been a free player, and now I can collect coins to play the premium gachas which previously I couldn’t unless I paid. Also every gacha has one free play which is great. The only thing I wish they would fix is for the events, the event rewards are so ugly, while the solo rewards are gorgeous but impossible to get. They should improve the rewards that you get for playing the event and make it so that more people can get the solo rewards. Overall I’m so happy they’ve fixed so many issues and I’m going to continue to play this lovely little game. ?
