Missing notes, won’t properly sync – Google Keep - Notes and lists Review

I can use Keep on any Android devices (which stay perfectly synced) and also using the website to see all my notes which are saved in the cloud... but the Keep app on iPhone only retrieves super old copies of everything. Nothing has been deleted. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled this app. I’ve searched for a solution but haven’t found anything helpful. This app on iPhone is essentially useless!
