Beware!! If you Love your Family… – Yelp: Food, Delivery & Reviews Review

Mount Vernon nursing/ Rehab failed my father’s short stay after leaving the hospital from having a massive stroke. I have pictures of them giving my dad another patient IV medicine that he was able to pull out.. Now he’s not able to do nothing.. Everything about this place is horrible. Staff are mainly African and they are mean & disrespectful. Staff stayed on their cell phone while patients buzzards are going off for assistance. Mr Jim, director is racist and don’t care Ms. Serette, is the best caring person there. Due to the neglect that my dad experienced I have hired a lawyer. I would not put my enemy in this place..rooms are not cleaned, the rooms are old (not remolded) with a broke cabinet in my dad’s room and a 15 inch TV in the room ( I never seen a TV that small in a hospital). I witnessed a lot in 30 days having several meetings with the various Directors of each department. The young OT staff Chelsea violated HIPPA regulations by disclosing his medical conditions in front of my friend who was with me. I also filed a report with the State of Virginia Health Department. This place should not get a 1 star.. they should be closed or hopefully from all of my complaints an investigation will be started.
