Impossible to Cancel or Refund Items Not In Stock – Dunkin' Review

The app works great ONLY IF the store has everything you ordered available. I’ve placed a few mobile orders in which NOTHING I ordered was available when I got to the Dunkin Donuts location to pick up my order. When this happens, the store employees are unable to cancel or refund on their end. I have to choose whatever unpopular donuts are still available or wait for customer service to open so I can call and request a refund. If no donuts are available in place of what I ordered, the store advises making another trip the next day for my order or calling customer service for a refund. Neither are ideal. It’s 2022. Customers and/or store employees should be able to cancel the order and issue a refund, as opposed to making the customer call a 1-800 # for a refund. Customers shouldn’t even be able to place the order to begin with if the items aren’t available.
