Lying to your customers is not a good look. – Zip - Buy Now, Pay Later Review

Zip is so ridiculous and their customer service is awful, do yourself a favor and use afterpay or your credit card. It says on their website that you can customize how frequently your payments occur. They state that you can choose the option to pay monthly, every 4 weeks. Since they offered this I decided to use zip for a large purchase. Except apparently they don’t ACTUALLY offer monthly payments, you can only pay bi-weekly. I’ve contacted customer service many times about how to change my payment frequency, I even sent them a screenshot of where it states this on their website trying to get some assistance. I received no explanation, not even an apology for some kind of misunderstanding. Zip tried to claim that they never offered monthly payments, and proceeded to ignore all further communication by me. What?? Anyone can find the article on their website, where it states verbatim: “You can change the frequency of your payments from weekly, fortnightly, or monthly, choose what works best for you!” If zip only offers payments every two weeks it is not acceptable for them to mislead customers into thinking otherwise. Zip needs to take accountability, delete this claim off their website, and hire staff who will actually be helpful to customers.
