Why just landscape?? – AccuWeather: Weather Alerts Review

I use no other app on landscape and being forced to use this otherwise outstanding app on landscape is annoying to say the least. When I helped with the beta app I don’t recall it being landscape only but now with my ipad it is disruptive. Am I missing a way to correct this problem?
