Puzzle app won’t open – Jigsaw Puzzle Review

I haven’t been able to open this app since the last update was done….at least 3 weeks ago! The screen goes black and/or freezes. I’ve rebooted my iPad many times and nothing changes! I’ve purchased many puzzles and have read in other reviews that if I remove the app and reload it that I could lose all of my purchases. This is unacceptable! I don’t know what to do…..
