Deceiving sales methods. Outrageously expensive – FilmBox by Photomyne Review

I checked out the Photomyne Ltd. Apps. They sounded promising. Then I saw I needed to sign a subscription. In the process the company’s wording was I get access to family of apps. This sounded like a fair deal with the $29.99/year subscription. I even signed for 2 years to get a slightly better deal. I was in the believe the family of apps means to have their slide scanner, negative scanner and all the other apps in the PHOTOMMYNE family. After I paid I had to realize that they used the term “family” in a deceiving way to lure people in. The fact is each of their apps has its own subscription. Each app is deliberately designed as “one trick pony”. The company deliberately limits each app to one thing so they are able to extort more money from customers. Would you subscribe to all apps individually you’d pay twice as much as for a subscription of the entire ADOBE PREMIERE SUITE. The latter being the most professional photo editing software out there. Photomyne could easily combine most of their apps. Colorization tool is a part of each app anyways. Save and export as well. The only difference is whether you scan a negative, a picture or a slide. Photomyne knowingly separates those functions - even though the underlying technology is very similar - to extort overpriced amounts of money from customers. This app belongs not in the App Store with such deceiving business practices. I will also report this to the BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU.
