Inconsistent ability to, like, just work… – VIZIO Mobile Review
I’m not sure Vizio has proper change control in place here. I mean, I hate using ServiceNow as much as the next button-pusher, but I mean, come on!
App works fine for minutes, hours, or sometimes even days at a time. Then the app doesn’t connect consistently to my Elevate sound bar, setting changes in the app often fail to apply to the device, audio setting gradients seem off, subwoofer (-9) and subwoofer (-10) are basically 1 and 0, but there’s two more steps down in the app ui.
The sound bar, sub, and surrounds themselves are very nice, they sound great, and there’s a remote to make changes instead of using the app. I wish Vizio would put as much care into app development as they did in the development of this hardware.
