Help – Game of Kings - Online Chess Review

I have this app and I have a friend that I want to play a game with. When I click to create the game, it just keeps loading indefinitely and never starts one. I can make a game with a random opponent, and my friend can start a game with me, but I can't start one with him. I've already reinstalled the app twice and have turned my phone off and back on and nothing has fixed it. Help.
