The future's uncertain and the end is always near – Strongbox - Password Manager Review

Just over a year ago I paid $40.99 for a “lifetime” license for the “Pro” version of this app. I’ve been very happy with this purchase but I am now concerned about it’s deprecation. 10 months ago the developer, Phoebe code Limited, released a new branch called “Strongbox Pro (Outright Purchase for Business)” and renamed the original app to “Strongbox - Keepass & PwSafe (The Premium KeePass Solution)”. Then three months ago released another branch called “Strongbox Zero (Local Only Database)”. My concern is this: The current release for the original app is now at 1.54.3 and the 2 branch versions are at 1.54.5 . Seeing that updates are trailing for this, the original product, and not for the newer branches is setting off a “Sunset Version” alarm in my mind. I will leave this review at three stars for now and will update based upon the developers response (or lack thereof).
