I’m a newer-ish Christian and have been reading the Bible for the past 5 years. I read the Bible all the way through about 2 years ago—which was a great start! Then, I went through the New Testament last year. I knew the Old Testament was next, but from my initial journey of going through the Bible, I wasn’t sure how much I was going to “get out of it”. I prayed for God to help me find a study plan—I looked on Amazon and at Barnes and Nobles regularly, but nothing was what I was looking for. I stumbled upon Through the Word as a plan in the YouVersion Bible app and mannnn was God working ? After learning this was an app I could download, I immediately started using this as my study plan through the Old Testament. I am so blessed by the workers here in the app & thank God for giving them the passion, words, and abilities to teach others. I have definitely grown in my faith. This app has pushed me to reflect more with God on my life, learn about the history of our faith, understand the truth, and laugh along the way (honestly, I have to say that!!! I smile so much when I’m listening). Please download this app! It is so easy to use and it has been such a great way for me to grow closer in my relationship with God.
