Glitched cleared gift card balance – Ulta Beauty: Makeup & Skincare Review

Placed an order with Ulta using the app. I entered my gift card info (a birthday gift I finally was able to use once i figured out what I wanted to buy). I hit place order and it started processing. It took some time which I thought was odd. I got an error message that said processing timed out. It took me back to the payment page but all my info was deleted. I entered my info again. Hit place order.. this time I got an error message that my gift card is at zero. I reached out to customer service and they confirmed that I had an incomplete transaction. However my gift card couldn’t be reimbursed. So I’m out $100 because the app glitched.
