Just Because You Don't Win, Doesn't Mean it Was a Bad Game – NarcoGuerra Review

Take the strategy of Risk and combine it with an educational experience on the drug war. Putting yourself as head of the Mexican battle against drugs may be a bit far-fetched, but it is humbling. In a world where everyone not in office knows the political solution, this game is a humbling experience. Even if you do everything right and have a numbers advantage, you can still lose. To those commenting about the difficulty of the game, I believe that is part of the lesson! Real life is not as simple as the good guys beat the bad guys easily. The point is this—even if we are doing our best in fighting the drug war, there will always be corruptible authorities and money available. But that doesn’t mean it is not worth fighting, just that we will lose more battles than we would like. There is much more to this app than a simple game. It is an education in the ongoing battle that, like it or not, affects the world around us. Even if this does not become an all-time favorite for you, it is worth the buy for the realization that sometimes solutions are not as simple as we think them to be in our head.
