It’s really and truly a FREE app!!!!!!! – SODA - Natural Beauty Camera Review

This is a really good app and it’s free with very limited ads! Honestly I would pay monthly to continue using it. It saves so much time in editing since it does the work for you as your recording. However a few things to keep in mind. You need very good light and to remain no more that 3 feet from the camera to get the best results since you can only record in HD in 30fps. Secondly if you add to much all at once (skin smoothing, eye color, lashes, lip fullness…) then it’s most likely going to end up looking like cheesy cartoon animation as things will not stay lined up where they should and your lashes end up on your forehead for a few seconds lol so use restraint! After all we shouldn’t be trying to change ourselves into a completely different person all together! Just enhance what you already have or hide a few annoying blemishes or imperfections NO MORE! Now that my lecture is over one more tip. Keep your face in the frame the whole time if your using the skin smoothing or it’ll pop back on when your do fully bring your face into view. And it’s quite obvious when it does this lol As for things I wish would be improved upon… the above paragraph is one. Instead of jumping back into place and being super obvious it would be great if it would gradually smooth your skin back out that way it’s not so obvious. Also the 10 min limit. Make longer record times part of a monthly fee or at least have a bell go off when only 30 seconds remain if something. Idk how many times I’ve droned on for a good 5 min before I realize it’s stopped recording. This is extremely frustrating because I e learned to watch the time and in order to make clean transitions I have to record a. Bunch of 4-6 min videos or try to add something to cover up break in the clip. For this reason I will not use this app for anything more than silly TikTok videos or the like. The content I sell I use another app for to avoid this even though I prefer this one. If this were addressed I would need the other app. However as I said in the beginning this is 100% FREE and you can even remove the watermark for FREE! This alone makes it worst 5 stars to me!!
