No more training points – Ballistic Baseball Review

I was saving up training points to evolve a player. I needed 50 to upgrade one player. It stopped giving me training points when I reached 28 points. I decided to use them and was able to max out every player on my roster. It then promoted me to the Star league. Now I don’t earn training points when I play an AI game. It shows that I have an option to evolve all of my 3 and 4 star players. What’s going on? I have found nothing explaining this. I really like this game as a distraction from reality but I would like to upgrade my players. I’m also not gaining any points in the Star League according to the graphic.
