Good and hopefully will get better – GSA PRO Review

I purchased the iPhone version today. With the first one not working and a return to the store to exchange it, I finally got one that worked. I ran some tests and the device itself seems to work well. No failed readings yet. The software however is not up to par just yet. One major failing is that it does not allow you to flip the compare swings, so as a left hander I cannot compare my swing to the pro swings provided which are both right handed. A major bit of functionality which has been left out. I contacted their support who contacted me within a day and this missing functionality is coming in an update. Some other functionality which is missing but in competitive products is the ability to pan around a swing giving more than the current 2 views. It also only comes with 2 pro swings and no lefties are included. The backswing and downswing are also difficult to distinguish and the arrows on the lines are not much help. Being able to change the color of the downswing to a different color than the backswing would help significantly. I give this 5 stars for customer support and 3 stars for the software which I'm sure will improve over time if their great customer support is anything to go by. I will be testing the device against a Trackman soon but initial thoughts are that it will be in acceptable tolerances so I'd rate it a buy.
