Good, but annoying – Dangerous Fellows - otome game Review

I played about 5 or 6 episodes of this game, and I liked it, until I got to a point where there was this obstacle. The only three options I had to get past it were to pay rubies, watch an ad, or just give up. Giving up just sent me back to the menu. I didn’t have enough rubies, and getting the rubies I needed would have taken days of waiting and collecting daily gifts since I wasn’t willing to spend money on this game. As for the ad option, the ads don’t work. Every time I’ve received an option to double my rubies or something by watching an ad, “there are no more ads left for you to watch today”. Even though I didn’t watch a single ad the entire time I had this game. So, since the only way for me to get past this stupid obstacle was to wait and wait for enough rubies, I decided screw it, it’s not worth it, and uninstalled the game. It could just be my device (iPhone8) that’s causing the ads not to work, I don’t know. But it’s a bug that needs to be fixed. It was fun while it lasted, but I’m not gonna keep dealing with annoying bugs like that, especially since I doubt that was going to be the last time something like that happened.
