Why does Avast not give a free year, before you have to purchase any protection now. – Avast Security & Privacy Review

I had a Chrome Book and a cheap E Machine around 2011 to 2013. I got a bad virus on both from a program called Lime wire to burn Music to C.D.’s and ect. Well it destroyed both computers I thought. I had a solid tech friend and fixed both. He downloaded Avast on both, laptop and the desktop. The Avast he downloaded for free worked perfectly. I just think Two weeks is not enough time to truly see how well it works. I did renew both for a year on rack computer. Then I got an iPad and iPhone and it always came with a good antivirus that Version had put on each with the contact we signed. I made a mistake and switches to T-Mobile in July 2021 and didn’t know or think about any protection. With that being said, I hope Avast still has the great protection and alerts. I really hope hits even better. I just think two weeks is not enough time to see how well it truly works and protects!!!! Thank You, MB
