Great idea, kinks need some smoothing out – Driving Curve HUD Review

This is a great idea for an app and can help with hypermiling. It adds a competitive factor and an achievement incentive. For such an early release, the UI/UX is pretty good. I bet it will just get better from here. The big problem so far is that the app will slow down to a halt if it captures too much data. My commute today was about 1.75 hours long (usually it's 0.5) and when I went to look at the graph and map after I finished my commute, the app froze. Each of my actions were delayed by maybe 30-40 seconds and it got jammed up. It's unusable after it records everything. So the code needs to be optimized all around, but other than that a great app idea and good UI/UX to start.
