Cool widget, but stopped refreshing data – ActivityTracker Pedometer Review

I’ve had this widget for over a year and have appreciated the format it displays step count info in a widget, but lately the widget stopped updating its step data. Touching the widget to open the app will make it refresh, but that kind of defeats the purpose.
