Great concept but misleading – Fooducate: Nutrition Coach Review

I’m pretty aware of food ingredients already but I thought this app would make my life easier. Unfortunately I was left unimpressed with some of the explanations for the ratings they assigned. For example, I was eating some flavored almonds which I was sure would get a poor rating since the second ingredient are vegetable oils. Vegetable oils are highly inflammatory and overall terrible for you. The almonds got a B+. Next I scanned organic, lightly salted cashews with no flavors. They were rated B+. I think this app can make you feel like you’re eating healthy when you could be damaging yourself. Lots of room for improvement.
