Slow and steady – Total War Battles: KINGDOM Review

There’s a great deal of strategy involved in the number of unit types, changing terrain, etc. But the overall pace of the game is extraordinarily slow and highly repetitious. That can be nice at times when you only have 30 minutes to an hour to play, but the “missions” are simply the same things over and over and you can do dozens a day and hardly get anywhere. The difficulty created by the limited resources and lack of instructions is pretty intense for a beginner.
