Works well enough – Zazen - Zen Meditation Timer and Mindfulness Bell Review

This app has such potential, but sadly falls short. It's genius is its simplicity but troubling is the mindfulness bell which seems to work only periodically. Design is important to me. The app icon is beautiful and elegant, with bamboo and brushed lettering, referencing Zen's historical roots in Asia. But these themes and style do not continue within the app. Instead we get an entirely new color scheme with New Agey stock photos of the beach and river rocks. We get an extremely standard array of buttons and setting pages. Get your icon designer to work on the designs inside the app too and make it all consistent. Simple, elegant, rustic - like Zen.
