Can anyone actually use this? – Washington State Parks Guide- Pocket Ranger® Review

I got the app with high hopes. But upon waiting about a minute for the app to update, it goes to a blank black screen with a gigantic X on the top left. Then it's frozen and will not proceed. Please fix. I would love to support this app when it is running accordingly.
