Menards App almost as bad as the stores themselves – Menards® Review

I honestly don’t know how Menards stays in business as nothing aside from advertising seems to function 1/2 as well as the real big box stores. Problem being, here in Northern MN, it’s them or nothing. Nothing may in fact be a better option. I spent over an hour trying to order, undo, redo, you name it today. I did an in store pickup order for Virginia, went all the way through the process and it gave me I-Falls as my pickup. Not exactly next door. I then tried for 30 minutes to get someone at Menards I-Falls on the line who could help reassign the pickup. After being disconnected from the proper department 4 times and giving up after the phone rang 50x, I got building materials to see if anyone was there. “Yep, she’s there, I know the phone is ringing, but she’s not picking up…” So, I have to have the part and have a family member driving through Virginia. I make a second order, confirm everything 3 times and purchase the parts a second time. I then get a “Please allow 12 hours for an email confirming when your order will be ready for pickup.” Home Depot, Lowe’s, Amazon, I hope you are reading this and give us another option in the north country!
