Used to be Really Good, But Turned Into Junk – Word Warp - A Word Puzzle Game Review

Liked this so much that I got the paid version years ago. Since then they dropped the paid version and reverted to ads. Bad enough, but recently the ads cannot be shut down even after waiting through their blaring, childish blast of sound. The only way to shut the ads off is the force the app to close then reopen the app, letting more ads play again, until they finally quit. Often it takes several forced closes before I can get the next set of letters. Looking for a better word game, sad, especially after having paid for ad free. Compare the above to my prior review below. It's a challenging and entertaining way to pass time, and a bit addicting as well, but really good at exercising those synaptic memories and channels. Only con is failure to include many modern American English words and conversely to use too many archaic words never used.
