Not helpful with map setup – RDR2: Companion Review

I downloaded the app and everything but the map will work. The help advice does not specify on resolving this issue. I tried uninstalling/reinstalling logoff/log on work in the setting on both iPad and system but nothing. It just says log into single player game (which I assume is story mode). Refresh does nothing.
