Great game- with some explanation – The King Of Ocean Review

This is a great game for people who enjoy the slow build. Having said that…you can spend money to advance more quickly. The really nice part is that you don’t have to spend money to advance. Just note- if you don’t spend money, you will advance slowly. I think it’s worth spending $1-$2 for VIP level 1, but after that you really don’t need to spend more (unless you want to advance more quickly). Ou will naturally gain VIP points in the game without spending money, but it’s slow. Also- they don’t explain this in the game. They make it seem as if the ONLY way to get to a higher VIP level is to spend money. There is a bit of a learning curve with the game. I would recommend playing your first time around without spending any money. I played for a few days in the most current server. I didn’t spend any money, nor did I request the free gift bag (Facebook). After I got a feel for the game, I started a new game in a different server. About those servers…I didn’t understand the server system at first. It would appear that the Dev’s decided to separate the gameplay into different servers. I don’t know the reason for this. They seem to add new servers fairly often. As of this writing I think they have something like 139 servers. Think of each server as a separate game platform with its own set of players. Anyway…after I played the game for a few days in the most current server, I switched to server 1 to start a new game. I honestly didn’t know how the server system worked at the time, and if I had known better I would have chosen one of the more recent servers to start the new game. I’m doing just fine in server 1, but being the first server, most of the players have been around a long time (I assume). It would have been nice if the server system was explained somewhere in the game. Anyway….I hope this helps.
