Very helpful to call Shenanigans! – Piping DataBase - XTREME Review

I am a construction manager in the upstream oil and gas field. In my experience, from time to time a piping designer or fitter or welder has attempted to propose a solution which is less than Kosher. In the past, I have had to delay work while I spend time researching and evaluating the options presented by my designers and fitters. Thanks to fast access to dimensional information from this app, I am able to frequently make spot decisions, especially around alternate pipe routing. I have had this app for a few years now and I reference it on the job site and in meetings quite frequently. On more than one occasion this app has armed me with the info to throw the BS flag in order to close down potential RFIs before they get out of the field. This one app has probably addresses > than 75% of my piping related informational needs. The only improvement I can suggest is that it would be nice if the developer allowed a 'favorite' short cut or a 'recent' pick list to take the user directly to their most commonly referenced info. I only wish there were a corresponding app for electrical (NEC/NFPA/NEMA) fittings and materials.
