This one worked, the other one didn't – MIDI Wrench Review

Simple as that. Writing a program to monitor MIDI data flow in a network doesn't seem like it should be like rocket science (although I could be wrong about that; it's not my area), so I expected the other monitor I tried (MIDI Monitor) to work. It crashed almost the instant MIDI data started to flow, over and over again. MIDI Wrench listened to the network, showed me what was happening, and stayed alive. That's all I needed it to do. Thanks for creating a product that does what it says! The rest of the interface is attractive and easy to use. The control knobs pop up to full-screen size for ease of manipulation and feature numeric readouts so you know exactly what MIDI value your setting them at. Basic ON/OFF buttons for pedals and an All Notes Off button to deal with "stuck keys."
