Absolutely hate forced action tutorials and quests – Moonlight Sculptor Review

This game thinks it knows what you want to do better than you, I’m sorry you can’t sell items now because we want to force you to click on this now. How do you feel this is a good gaming experience? I want to find my own way through a game not be forced into explicit actions so that you can “teach” me how to play. And by the way the tutorials and quests go on forever. There is no escape or sense of adventure or fulfillment because it never ends. I’m level 40 and still enduring forced tutorials. The fighting feels really slow paced. The alchemist was kinda fun but the mage just feels more like a warrior and the yelling on each attack goes old super quickly. Also I quickly got to a point with the alchemist where I died over and over. I couldn’t win against multiple enemies due to the super slow attack speed and lack of multi-targeting. Also I’m many levels behind, doing level 30 area when I’m actually over level 40. My pack is so heavy with stuff I left my area to go sell stuff at which point you are trying to force me to do dungeons. I hate the forced play of this game. You have destroyed the gaming experience as well as the fun of discovery. Also dare I say the reward collection is off the charts intrusive and absurd. No one needs this many dubious and repetitive awards. The only escape for me is deletion. Then we come to crafting. You throw a simple quest task at me like make a cape. Turns out you get different info when you click on an item name versus the icon. Took me a while to figure out I need 300 cotton to make a cape. Took me 30 minutes to find 5, now you expect me to find 300. Absurd. I’ll never do it. I’d rather kill stuff and hope for a cape. At least my time would be rewarded with experience. Let’s talk about pets. You never recommend upgrading chance but then all of a sudden I need like 20 levels to get a decent pet. Another complete miss. Forced tutorials and insane requirements — this game has real issues and terrible ui is the least of it. I so wanted to like this game. The graphics are charming but I find my frustration level just keeps growing. Every quest takes 10 minutes to complete but you expect me to spend hours hunting for cotton. Each cotton bush should give like 5 cotton. This one at a time thing is for the birds. I guess there is always the exchange, but no guest can use it. Back to the draw8ng board.
