Great, Flexible, Can Be Combined, But The Icon? – Windy ~ Natural White Noise Review

Windy is excellent, with many customizable features. And it can be run simultaneously with other sound-generating apps, or even YouTube, to create truly rich soundscapes. My only criticism (and yes, this is incredibly incidental) is the screen icon. What is that supposed to be? A pretty, young, caucasian woman in Native-American-esque facepaint and a matching aqua-colored do-rag looking down at us like some all-knowing weather goddess? Is her name supposed to be Wendy? Or Windy? Isn’t it a bad idea to have a Washington Redskins-like mascot as the public face of your app, especially when it looks like nothing so much as a sorority girl in bad choices drag? Just a thought.....
