No Client-Side encryption – SecureSafe Password Manager Review

I have been using this service for many years now. This app has not been updated at a basic level since beginning. While it was not the case when this started out, most secure apps now offer client side encryption for passwords or file storage. This does not. They say they’re zero knowledge but we have to trust them to not record unencrypted keys from memory(src: their white paper). The fact that they can if they want to makes it not zero knowledge. So, while this is a good service in other ways you can find more secure password/storage elsewhere.
