Buyer’s caveat! – PDF Hero - PDF Editor & Reader Review

The biggest issue with this app is you are FORCED to initiate the subscription FIRST before you can test the app. The trial period is only THREE DAYS, which probably isn’t even enough to test everything before deciding to subscribe or not. From what I have read in the reviews, many complaints were for the “failure” to cancel the subscription in time before the brief trial period ends. The subscription purchase is confusing with five different prices for an annual subscription and two for the monthly subscription. No matter, I always end up with $9.99 per month instead of $29.99 per year. That is a highway robbery! You will have to pay separately for the converting and merging the PDF documents (I could do this for free on Mac computers under Apple Preview app, anyway). Additionally, I don’t need to store the PDF documents in the developer’s cloud storage (thus, the reason for expensive subscription). If the price is € 0.99 per month and no higher than that for the full access to the functions as well as the ability to store my documents in Dropbox or iCloud Drive storage, I would consider this app. But, no.
