A great game, but with caution! – Math Friendzy - Online Live Tutors, Lessons Review

What a fun way for kids to practice their math skills! This application provides an exciting community environment for kids to practice mathematics with their friends and other students from around the world. My second grader used the application last night for an hour and enjoyed every minute of it. My one caution to parents is that this application will not allow students to proceed past the third level without earning or purchasing 10,000 coins. The price for coins ranges from $.99 to $39.99. If you do not wish to purchase coins, the process of earning them is very slow and you are required to repeat and play at the more basic levels. In my opinion, the practice of charging money for coins in a kid's educational game is offensive! I would much rather spend a dollar up front and pay for the game one time, than feel pressured to make "in-app" purchases in order to help my child move up to the next level. Because this application has this in-app pay for coins aspect, I do not feel comfortable inviting our friends to play it or sharing it with our school. Otherwise, we really like the game!
