Love it so far…but worried about app maintenance – Upkeep Tasks Review

I searched long and hard for an app like this and was so happy to find exactly what I needed… an app to track all my recurring tasks and remind me when the come back up. It works flawlessly so far (only 1 week in). But I’ve just read a few reviews saying they lost everything when phone broke, and that it doesn’t transfer devices. I’m a little worried about what will happen in a year when I get a new phone… will this data transfer or will I have to start all over? Scared to find out. I see the last update was 2 years ago so a little concerned the developer has lost interest in improving this app. If you’re reading this, know that I (and probably others) are willing to pay for the much needed additional functionality of syncing to iCloud and across devices.
