Not an Intranet – Workplace from Meta Review

Workplace is ok as a collaboration tool for very small groups, less than 10 people. But it’s not a true Intranet and it doesn’t appear Facebook plans to make it a true Intranet. They spend more time developing diverse skin tones than adding any real functionality, like fixed department pages and document management. Everything exists as a post, and with groups with more than a few people those posts can disappear very quickly. It’s the cheapest of the intranet-style solutions, and you get what you pay for.
