Maybe it's just not my taste, but. – Strange Loves 1: Vampire Boyfriends Review

It's a brilliant idea. I've grown up interested in interactive stories; I used to always read the choose-your-own-adventure Goosebump books, and I'd make my own in notebooks during summer vacation in elementary and middle school. Even now, they're my favorite kind of games. So that and my love of vampires made me get this. It's enjoyable for a short period of time. It's not as though you're paying for a full book either, so $2.99 is an amazing deal. The actual content in the story (well, stories) are just...pretty plain. A LOT of references to Twilight. The first time I finished the game/book, I married "Robby Patterson". If you pick a theatre career, you're audition for a play where the two protagonists are Ella and Edwin. When I was younger, I loved The books and would have fangirled over this. Now I just found it cheesy. The character did a lot of things I wouldn't do. For instance, I wouldn't be the least bit annoyed over a friend getting a tattoo like a birthmark I had, I'd find it super flattering. The character (who, when I read COYA stories, try to base them off me the first time I try them) seemed very shallow. As did the other characters. To be honest, I just didn't like the writing. The characters seemed fake and the content was so cheesy and almost embarrassingly odd. But I might only think this because I'm in my 20s with a degree in writing. ;) if you CRAVE a vampire boyfriend and deciding between which one, then this is the app for you! Like I said, I would have ADORED this app when I was younger. I also have a friend my age who can't stop gushing about how great this app is. If what I mentioned above sounds appealing to you, then go for it. :)
