Best app ever! It's just a few features away from being perfect! – Do! Premium -Simple To Do List Review

I love this app- it is so simple and easy to use which is its best quality. So many "to do" apps are overly complicated with too many features and categories and although people might like that level of organization, this app is so much more practical - when I need to remember to do something, I just need to write it down and be able to do that wherever I am- which is why this beats using a notebook because you don't always have a notebook with you, but your phone is usually always by your side! I like how I don't have to pick a category and over complicate things. I just want to be able to quickly make note of something and that's exactly what this app allows me to do. I also like the scribbling out feature when you complete a task because it is so realistic unlike most apps that use check marks- who writes to do lists and spends the time actually making little boxes next to each task to later be able to check off? Not only is the scratching out feature realistic, but it allows you to still see what you have completed (as you can always still read it when it's scratched through or you can double click and it will remove the cross out mark) Either way, the point is that in my opinion, as i know others would agree, the best part of making a to do list is the feeling you get when you are able to cross something out because you completed it. It's kind of cool to be able to see everything you completed as its a nice feeling of accomplishment. And it saves them all until you delete them, so it actually can be used as a way of tracking your progress, and is kind of like a journal that you can look back on and remember the things you did. I never saved my to do lists when I wrote them on paper and would often lose them anyways, so this is great because you can save it all on your phone and there's no way to misplace it! Unless of course you lose your phone - but even so, iCloud will have it all saved for you! The things I do not particularly like: When you edit an item, it automatically brings it to the top of your list. I don't like this because I tend to try and order my list by importance or timing,( just by manually moving the tasks up and down) and if I edit something far down the list, I always have to manually move it back down to where I had it. Also, when you edit something, and the task is longer than the size of the text box, which it usually is, it doesn't allow you to scroll over to the beginning. For example, if I wrote "4:00 hair appointment at Delaria Salon in Boston" and had to change the appointment to 6, I would only be able to edit the first letter that appears in the text box which is usually mid sentence since the text bar automatically goes to the end of your note, not beginning. So in this example, "Delaria salon in Boston" might be the only part that shows in the text box, because it's too long to see the beginning few words. So if I wanted to change my appointment time from 4:00 to a 6:00, I would have to start at the D in Delaria and then would have to delete everything before that (in this case it would be "4:00 appointment") because it won't allow you to scroll over so your only option is to delete everything prior to whats visible on your screen until you reach the desired word or number you want to change, and therefore have to retype whatever you had to delete. It's especially annoying when you want to make one little change and it's a longer note and you end up having to delete half of it just to get to the one word you want to edit. You should be able to scroll over and edit at any point in your message. I like the option of color coding your notes (where you can pick from 12 or so colored boxes to appear in front of your note as a way to kind of categorize them) For example, I use red for all phone calls or emails I need to send. The only additional feature I wish it had was an option for labeling your colors so that you know that, for example, "green is used for things you need to buy" because I don't always remember what color I use for what. Lastly, it's nice that they have the option of choosing a specific date if you have something that specifically needs to be done on a particular day, but it would make sense that on those dates, (when the day arrives) the task would automatically move to the top of your list. There are apps that do stuff like this and timers and stuff u can set, but again, those are usually overly complicated and require you to fill out a ton of specific information, so I much rather not have this feature as its not that important to me, but t would be a nice addition. It may seem like there are a lot of things I don't like or that I would add, but these are just little things that would make the app absolutely perfect - for me!! But they are not issues that really bother me and certainly do not discourage me from using this app. I depend on this app and would be lost without it! Definitely worth the purchase - which I believe is quite inexpensive! I wanted to rate it 4.75 stars however that's obviously not an option, but that is my real rating of this app!!
