Could be great but… – myArmsCache Review

The app provides a functional method to be able to track your guns and shooting equipment. Unfortunately, the interface is somewhat dated. The developer updates have been minor for a very long time, basically just fixing problems and not moving forward. Originally the app was purchasable but of late, it has become a subscription only app with a rather high subscription cost for what your provided. But the game breaker, is the inability to get your data back off of the device. The developer provides a method, in writing, to pick the files off have a computer you have your iOS device connected to and back them up, or move them to another device. But other than a full device restore, there’s no other way to get your data backed up. And if you have multiple devices, you’re completely out of luck. You have to hand move the files between the devices to be able to have your database on more than one device. Completely unacceptable in today’s environment.
