Used to be beautiful – Purify: Block Ads and Tracking Review

I’ve used Purify for ages. When first activated, I was so pleased with the blocking of huge amounts of clutter. Count me very pleased. Lately my tablets (all of them) have been getting buggy: apps load slowly and crash unexpectedly; videos won’t play in app, webpages occasionally can’t be loaded by Safari and so on. I tested for problems with the ISP, the VPN, the software updates and tried reboots. The situation deteriorated until I came to check Purify on the App Store. “Optimized for iOS 12.” What? Seems the developer has abandoned maintenance. Sooooo, I suggest you look elsewhere. Maybe use DuckGoGo as your browser, as its totally privacy oriented. This is a great app that went by the wayside.
