Addicting and then you have to spend your OWN $ to keep playing. – City Island 3: Building Sim Review

This game is seriously a blast at first. I had so much fun creating my own little island just how I wanted it. The graphics are great (a lot better than the other games in my opinion - not as cartoon like which is what I prefer). BUT the reason I am giving 2 stars is because you get addicted to the game and then all of the houses, buildings, etc. start costing gold instead of cash...you are only going to have enough gold to keep playing if you actually start paying REAL money. Also, the price to buy more land is outrageous and the same to open up new islands. I really enjoyed this game but there isn’t much left for me to do on the game since I don’t have any gold accumulated. I feel as if it was very trick and misleading for them to switch how you purchase houses, buildings, etc. (meaning from cash to gold which you don’t get paid in gold so you barely have any). I will be deleting the app sadly.
